Written under the direction of Andrew Scott Dolkart, Professor of Historic Preservation at Columbia University. The following presentation, and the text of the nomination below, was created in support of a National Register nomination for the Episcopal Church of the Beloved Disciple (now St. Thomas More Roman Catholic Church) in the Carnegie Hill neighborhood of the Upper East Side of New York City. In June of 2016 the church and its affiliated buildings was found to be eligible for listing on the National Register under Criteria C for "high artistic value."
